NEW DETAILS: Pauly D hits studio to record new album

Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D hit the studio this week to begin work on his debut album with 50 Cent.  "If you look up "Productive" in the dictionary...There would be a great BiG pic of today !!!" Pauly tweeted following his studio session.

Pauly says he'll be hosting some tracks and producing some of the music on what he calls a 'party' album.  Pauly is collaborating on the album with rapper 50 Cent.

50 Cent's record label G-Unit will release the album late this year. An exact date for when Pauly's album will drop has not been confirmed yet. A source confirms to Examiner.com it will most likely be Spring 2012 -around the time Pauly's Jersey Shore spinoff premieres on MTV.
