Ronnie, Sammi break up...again (Was cheating to blame...again?)

Jersey Shore stars Ronnie and Sammi have broken up, yet again. The MTV reality stars' slipt has been speculated for a few weeks, but now Ronnie has confirmed it. "We are not together," he revealed to Us Weekly Tuesday.


Ronnie admits being in Italy brought the couple back together after a tough breakup during Jersey Shore Season 3. He admits they didn't fight at all while in Florence, but says they have recently decided to call it quits.

Sammi and Ronnie's breakup has been suspected since reports surfaced that he cheated on Sammi while in Las Vegas last month. Still, neither of the Jersey Shore stars has confirmed it until now; nor has a reason for their breakup been mentioned.

We can't help but point out the timing of the breakup announcement - just a day before the Jersey Shore Season 4 finale. If it sounds familiar the on-again off-again couple announced a previous breakup just days after Jersey Shore Season 3 premiered.  Nothing like creating a little buzz.

And so we leave you with this: Is Ronnie and Sammi's breakup for real? Or just real good timing?

Is JWoWW engaged?

Jersey Shore star Jenni "JWoWW" Farley took to Twitter Friday to respond to week-old rumors that her boyfriend, Roger Mathews, popped the question.  The MTV reality star was wearing a huge diamond ring on her left ring finger at the 2011 MTV VMAs on August 28 sparking questions about whether she and Roger are getting married. "I think Roger got scared with all these engagement rumors lol jk," JWoWW tweeted. "But no we (are) not... Hopefully 1 day but I don't wanna jinx it!!!"

JWoWW has previously said she'd accept if Roger proposed. She admits, however, neither imagined marrying anyone but since they started dating more than a year ago they've changed their minds.  "We both said to each other if it was to be somebody it would be to each other," JWoWW said during an interview in February 2011.

JWoWW and Roger started dating while she was filming Jersey Shore Season 3 in Seaside Heights between July and September 2010.  The MTV reality star and Roger were friends for months before they took their relationship to the next level - which happened almost immediately after her intense breakup from boyfriend and former manager.

Jersey Shore fans are weighing in today (Friday) on Pauly's duster dilemma from Thurday's episode of Jersey Shore (Season 4 Episode 11). While Deena was relentless at trying to smush Pauly he resisted even going so far as to try to get another girl - any girl - to come home with him. "Deena, I'd knock the dust off that (expletive) if were weren't friends. I'm just saying," Pauly said.

So we asked Examiner.com readers what they think - should Pauly D hookup with Deena? Eighty percent of those polled said Pauly D did the right thing by turning down Deena's advances as desperate as they were. But 20% said he should just smush her already - even if they are friends.
