The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort will host MTV's Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D as a resident DJ throughout 2012

(Atlantic City, NJ- February 13, 2012) - Coined as one of the hottest nightlife venues in the Nation, Atlantic City's own Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort, proudly announces DJ Paul "Pauly D" Delvicchio as their new Resident DJ for 2012.

DJ Pauly D will bring his world-renowned music skills to Atlantic City for his debut East Coast residency giving party goers at The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort access to America's favorite DJ. His presence will serve as a rejuvenating force in the area's nightlife culture establishing Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City's ever expanding entertainment portfolio.

Voted VIBE Magazine's "Top 6 DJs Who Rocked 2011 and #8 Best DJ in America in 2010, Pauly D continues to reinforce The Pool After Dark's commitment to providing outstanding nightlife programming and talent.  Pauly D rose to the top of the pop culture landscape by starring on MTV's highest rated series ever, Jersey Shore and can currently be seen in the show's fifth season airing Thursday nights. Pauly D recently announced his new spin-off show The Pauly D Project, which premieres Thursday, March 29 on MTV. The reality star's spin-off series, documents him as he scores a record deal with G-Note Records and opens for Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale tour.
DJ Pauly D will kick off the much anticipated circuit with a star-studded debut on Saturday, March 31, 2012 following with an April 28thperformance and several others throughout 2012.

Pauly D may have a bromance on the Jersey Shore,  but in his life off the Shore the MTV reality star has a group of longtime friends that keep him grounded despite millions of screaming fans and a whole different type of millions in his bank account.  Now this Rhode Island boy is taking them along on the ride of a lifetime for MTV's next big reality show. Meet the cast of The Pauly D Project: 

Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio
A DJ in his hometown of Johnston, Rhode Island, Pauly D shot to fame as one eighth of “Jersey Shore” – the highest rated series in MTV history. Pauly D got his start as a DJ at a local Rhode Island nightclub called ULTRA – where he forged the friendships viewers will see in his new series. Pauly D just announced a monthly music residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino beginning February 18, 2012. During the summer of 2011, the star helmed the turntables at Palms Casino Resort. In September, he entertained at iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas alongside some of the biggest names in the music industry including Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, The Black Eyed Peas and Alicia Keys. Following a spot on Britney Spears’ Femme Fetale Tour with Nicki Minaj, Pauly was signed to hip-hop mogul 50 Cent’s record label, G-Note records. He was also voted the “#8 Best DJ in America” in 2010 and one of VIBE Magazine’s “Top 6 DJs Who Rocked 2011.”


Michael “Biggie” Morgan (@DJBiggie on Twitter) Biggie is a DJ who became best friends with Pauly D when they were DJs together at Club ULTRA in Rhode Island. Biggie now works as Pauly D’s road manager, handling all the logistics, sound checks and technical issues and even setting up the equipment for their music gigs around the world. The man behind the man with the blowout, Biggie keeps Pauly D’s day-to-day life flowing seamlessly  but sometimes to the detriment of his own personal life and relationship with his girlfriend Mary Jane. As Biggie struggles to remain loyal to his hometown girl while everyone else in his crew hooks-up, can love survive the whirlwind, jetset lifestyle Biggie has adopted in order to help his best friend make it to the top of the music charts?

Gerard “Big Jerry” Gialanella (@BigJerryG on Twitter) Always calm, cool and collected – don’t let the laid-back exterior fool you. Jerry is the unofficial baby brother of Pauly D’s crew – and often the butt of their group’s jokes – but he’s been throwing elbows as a bouncer since he was 18-years-old. Becoming a part of a tight knit trio with Pauly D and Biggie when he was a bouncer at Club ULTRA, he now serves as Pauly D’s personal security and a much-needed confidante, protecting him from over-exuberant fans and haters  across the globe. Newly slimmed down after losing over 140 pounds, he’s still always ready to protect his best friend and the things he’s witnessed on the road with TV’s most recognizable DJ would have to have been seen to be believed.

Ryan Labbe (@RyanLabbe on Twitter) Here comes trouble: Ryan is the guy responsible for bringing their group together as the club manager for ULTRA, where he gave Pauly D and Biggie some of their first gigs. Ryan is off-the-cuff and off-the chain and never holds back how he feels. He serves as Pauly D’s partner in crime and as a reality check for one of the kings of reality TV. By keeping it exceedingly real, their circle of friends is better for it. Always a man with a plan, Ryan is never without a great new business idea or venture.

NEW DETAILS: Pauly D hits studio to record new album

Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D hit the studio this week to begin work on his debut album with 50 Cent.  "If you look up "Productive" in the dictionary...There would be a great BiG pic of today !!!" Pauly tweeted following his studio session.

Pauly says he'll be hosting some tracks and producing some of the music on what he calls a 'party' album.  Pauly is collaborating on the album with rapper 50 Cent.

50 Cent's record label G-Unit will release the album late this year. An exact date for when Pauly's album will drop has not been confirmed yet. A source confirms to Examiner.com it will most likely be Spring 2012 -around the time Pauly's Jersey Shore spinoff premieres on MTV.

Pauly D gets 3,000,000th Twitter Follower!

Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D reached the three million mark on Twitter today (Wednesday) having gained more than 12,000 followers in just the last 24 hours alone.  Even more impressively he doubled his Twitter followers in just the last five months!

The MTV reality star is only the second of the Jersey Shore cast members to reach 3 million on the social networking site. If anyone's going to catch Snooki and her 4.2 million Twitter fans it will be Pauly.

Pauly D got auctioned off by Judd Apatow at the Hilarity For Charity event earlier this month.

INFO: DJ Pauly D to spin at free event at 2012 Super Bowl

Pauly D will play a free gig as part of the star-studded festivities leading up to the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis.  The Jersey Shore star will play an hour-long set at Super Bowl Village on Friday, January 27 - known as Super Fans Day.


Super Bowl Village will be rocking with live entertainment for more than a week leading up to Super Bowl XLVI. DJ Pauly D is slated to spin the first day of the big kick off event. He'll take to the Verizon Stage at Super Bowl Village between 7-8pm.

2012 Bamboozle lineup includes Jersey Shore's DJ Pauly D

Pauly D is about to get Bamboozled!

The Jersey Shore star will hit the stage as part of the 2012 Bamboozle Festival in Ashbury Park, NJ in May. Pauly will beat up the beat on May 19 - that's Day 2 of the three-day Bamboozle Festival.

Other acts to take the stage that day include Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, Skizzy Mars and the Foo Fighters. The 2012 Bamboozle line up features some of the biggest names in music including Bon Jovi and Incubus.

Premiere Date: Inside sources confirm to Examiner.com Pauly's Jersey Shore spinoff will premiere in Spring 2012...specifically in March around the Jersey Shore Season 5 finale

Pauly D leaves Palms, signs new DJ Residency deal in Las Vegas

Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D confirmed today (Saturday) he's is leaving The Palms Resort and Casino to sign on as the resident DJ at another Las Vegas hotspot. Just where that is though - he's keeping hush-hush for now. "Brand New Las Vegas DJ Residency Announcement Coming Soon !!!!!" the MTV reality star hinted on his offiical Facebook page. 

While Pauly D and his camp aren't revealing the new residency location just yet there's a few big hints. He beat up the beat on New Year's Eve Eve at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino - which could have been both a test and a nod to where he'll land.  But makes it even more likely is a report earlier this month in The Hollywood Reporter which prematurely reported The Hard Rock is where Pauly D has signed on to deejay for the next year.  >> Read the full story on Examiner.com
