A DJ in his hometown of Johnston, Rhode Island, Pauly D shot to fame as one eighth of “Jersey Shore” – the highest rated series in MTV history. Pauly D got his start as a DJ at a local Rhode Island nightclub called ULTRA – where he forged the friendships viewers will see in his new series. Pauly D just announced a monthly music residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino beginning February 18, 2012. During the summer of 2011, the star helmed the turntables at Palms Casino Resort. In September, he entertained at iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas alongside some of the biggest names in the music industry including Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, The Black Eyed Peas and Alicia Keys. Following a spot on Britney Spears’ Femme Fetale Tour with Nicki Minaj, Pauly was signed to hip-hop mogul 50 Cent’s record label, G-Note records. He was also voted the “#8 Best DJ in America” in 2010 and one of VIBE Magazine’s “Top 6 DJs Who Rocked 2011.”
Michael “Biggie” Morgan (@DJBiggie on Twitter) Biggie is a DJ who became best friends with Pauly D when they were DJs together at Club ULTRA in Rhode Island. Biggie now works as Pauly D’s road manager, handling all the logistics, sound checks and technical issues and even setting up the equipment for their music gigs around the world. The man behind the man with the blowout, Biggie keeps Pauly D’s day-to-day life flowing seamlessly but sometimes to the detriment of his own personal life and relationship with his girlfriend Mary Jane. As Biggie struggles to remain loyal to his hometown girl while everyone else in his crew hooks-up, can love survive the whirlwind, jetset lifestyle Biggie has adopted in order to help his best friend make it to the top of the music charts?
Gerard “Big Jerry” Gialanella (@BigJerryG on Twitter) Always calm, cool and collected – don’t let the laid-back exterior fool you. Jerry is the unofficial baby brother of Pauly D’s crew – and often the butt of their group’s jokes – but he’s been throwing elbows as a bouncer since he was 18-years-old. Becoming a part of a tight knit trio with Pauly D and Biggie when he was a bouncer at Club ULTRA, he now serves as Pauly D’s personal security and a much-needed confidante, protecting him from over-exuberant fans and haters across the globe. Newly slimmed down after losing over 140 pounds, he’s still always ready to protect his best friend and the things he’s witnessed on the road with TV’s most recognizable DJ would have to have been seen to be believed.
Ryan Labbe (@RyanLabbe on Twitter) Here comes trouble: Ryan is the guy responsible for bringing their group together as the club manager for ULTRA, where he gave Pauly D and Biggie some of their first gigs. Ryan is off-the-cuff and off-the chain and never holds back how he feels. He serves as Pauly D’s partner in crime and as a reality check for one of the kings of reality TV. By keeping it exceedingly real, their circle of friends is better for it. Always a man with a plan, Ryan is never without a great new business idea or venture.

Hand soap
Aerosol Hairspray (a lot of it)

Pauly showed off his new custom Suzuki GSX-R to Dub during a recent photo shoot at The Palms where he has an exclusive DJ residency. The bike's custom paint job - by Killer Kreations - perfectly combine's Pauly's love for spinning, music and speed. It has a custom sound system and features the exact turntables and dj decks he uses when he spins.
Pauly's new bike - a gift from Suzuki - is just one in his growing fleet. The MTV reality star has 2009 custom Big Bear Chopper, two GSX-R1000s, a Honda CBR stuntbike, and a Yamaha R1. Check out video and more photos of Pauly D's new bike

Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D will make an appearance at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (aka CES 2012) this week in Las Vegas. Pauly D will be on hand with 50 Cent on Thursday, January 12 to formally announce a partnership to develop a Pauly D line of branded headphones. The new deal was announced today (Monday) along with confirmation of Pauly's CES appearance.

Ronnie, Sammi break up...again (Was cheating to blame...again?)

Ronnie admits being in Italy brought the couple back together after a tough breakup during Jersey Shore Season 3. He admits they didn't fight at all while in Florence, but says they have recently decided to call it quits.
Sammi and Ronnie's breakup has been suspected since reports surfaced that he cheated on Sammi while in Las Vegas last month. Still, neither of the Jersey Shore stars has confirmed it until now; nor has a reason for their breakup been mentioned.
We can't help but point out the timing of the breakup announcement - just a day before the Jersey Shore Season 4 finale. If it sounds familiar the on-again off-again couple announced a previous breakup just days after Jersey Shore Season 3 premiered. Nothing like creating a little buzz.
And so we leave you with this: Is Ronnie and Sammi's breakup for real? Or just real good timing?

When does Jersey Shore Season 5 start? Details on when to set your DVR!
MTV has ordered 13 episodes of the show for the fifth season which sets up the Jersey Shore Season 5 finale to air on May 10, 2012. The Jersey Shore 5 premiere and finale dates mean MTV's most successful series ever will span two ratings periods commonly called 'sweeps.'
Jersey Shore Seasons 1 and 3 were also winter series but started in December and January respectively. With the Jersey Shore Season 5 beginning the second week in February it means there will be 15 weeks (about 4 months) between the Jersey Shore Season 4 finale on October 20, 2011 and the Jersey Shore Season 5 premiere.
An MTV spokesperson did not immediately respond when asked for more information about when Jersey Shore Season 5 will start.

GLAAD Spirit Day 2011 finally gives Jersey Shore's Vinny a good reason to wear purple pants

Wearing purple on Thursday, October 20 (which just so happens to be the same day the Jersey Shore Seaon 4 finale airs on MTV) shows support for the Lesbian, Gay, BiSexual, and Transgender community and stands for anti-bullying against LGBT youth.
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation GLADD is working with dozens of organizations to inspire millions of Americans to wear purple on Thursday. Many, including MTV and Yahoo, will show their support by temporarily changing their logos and avatars to purple. Countless celebrities have also signed on to throw their support behind the effort and participate in Spirit Day 2011 by proudly donning purple in support of GLAAD and LGBT.

Following the one hour Jersey Shore Season 4 finale at 10pm ET/PT, MTV will air the Jersey Shore 4 Reunion show. Fans will then be directed over to MTV.com where Jersey Shore Hook-Up Live will be streaming live from Times Square in New York City between midnight and 1am. The entire cast will reportedly be on hand to talk about the drama-filled season and answer fan questions submitted via Facebook and Twitter.
The first ever live edition of Jersey Shore Hook-Up aired following the Jersey Shore Season 4 premiere. According to the Remote Control blog - the fan participation was so successful - producers have decided to do it all over again.
